Our Story
The Background
Being an IT Mercenary is an idea I've had since working a computer repair counter at a big box electronics store. So many small business owners would come in expecting a one off software fix only to find out what they actually needed was something more. Sometimes it was a network issue that I couldn't diagnose without being on their network. A printer that didn't like network printing. Software that had a master and slave on their network. Then I began being an IT Mercenary. Moonlighting for these clients that weren't being serviced otherwise.
This was the beginning. Continuing to service these customers as I navigated the larger enterprise environments of my day job I learned more and honed my skills. Active Directory, networking, databases, some development, reporting, the list keeps growing. Now I bring those skills and understandings to smaller businesses to help them grow while keeping things simple.

I have gained over 10 years of IT experience throughout various paths of employment and personal projects in my career. I have worked retail IT, corporate IT, and small business IT as well as B2B IT sales. This experience gained allows me to find the best solutions for you and your business.
